C.R. Azzoni Award
The Carlos Roberto Azzoni Award was created by the Brazilian Regional Science Association (ABER) with the objective of encouraging the intellectual production of researchers in the field of regional science, valuing studies on regional and urban phenomena with an emphasis on the Brazilian reality.
The prize is awarded annually for the best article published in the Brazilian Review of Regional and Urban Studies and has the gross value of R$ 3,000.00. The selection committee consists of the journal editors, the author of the award-winning article in the previous year, and a guest researcher. The prize is awarded at the National Meeting of ABER, held in the year following the reference year of the award.
